British train companies have made a new offer to rail workers in a bid to end a long running dispute over pay, the group representing the rail industry said on Friday.
Britain’s transport network has been hit by a series of disruptive strikes over several months as workers demand better wages to keep pace with surging inflation.
“We have put forward a fair revised offer which makes important clarifications and reassurances, in particular around job terms and conditions for our employees,” a spokesperson for the Rail Delivery Group said:
